United States Dedicates the New U.S. Embassy in Nouakchott, Mauritania
The United States Embassy in Nouakchott, Mauritania, is the twelfth diplomatic campus in MW’s Embassy Portfolio and the sixth located on the African continent.
M/E/P services provided include: Mechanical, Electrical, Telecommunications, Technical Security, and Architectural Lighting. MW engineers contributed to the U.S. Department of State target of LEED Silver Certification by designing renewable energy systems such as the 185kW photovoltaic system, and the 50kW wind turbine to supplement the compound energy needs.
